Challenge

Manual Inspection and Fraudulent Reporting

Solution

Geo-tagging & Digital Dashboard for Reporting

Project Overview

The **SIRD (Scheme Inspection Report Dashboard)** is a web-based solution that digitizes the entire process of inspecting and reporting government schemes in India. The project leverages **geo-tagging** to verify the physical presence of inspectors, reducing fraud and ensuring accurate reporting of social development programs.

The Challenge

Government inspections for projects like mid-day meals, road construction, etc., were being done manually, leading to errors and fraudulent reporting. Key challenges included:

  • Manual paperwork and slow authentication processes.
  • Difficulty in verifying whether inspectors were physically present at the location.
  • Risk of fraudulent and incomplete reporting.

The Solution

To address these issues, we created **SIRD**, which implements a **geo-tagging** system along with a **digital dashboard** for efficient reporting. Features of the solution include:

  • Geo-Tagging: Verifies the physical presence of inspectors at the allocated locations.
  • Dashboard Interface: A centralized platform for monitoring, reporting, and tracking inspection progress.
  • Real-time Updates: Inspectors and officials can update reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The **SIRD** system has streamlined the entire inspection and reporting process, making it more transparent, efficient, and less prone to errors. Government officials can now track the progress of schemes in real-time, ensuring timely interventions.
